4.0"I commend the effort that was made by the service tech and service rep to ensure my vehicle was repaired and returned to me in full operating condition. My only negative comment relates to the deep scratches that occurred sometime during the repairs. My interior was in pristine condition but now the interior vinyl on the driver's side next to the left foot rest is scratched several times in 1"-2" lengths across and down a 3" long area." 5.0"I brought my Mini in for service with service advisor Scott Fouts, Scott showed exceptional knowledge of the vehicle, outstanding customer service while I waited on my vehicle, and was just an overall great person to be around. Scott made me feel comfortable with any questions I had and didn't over explain the issues, which was great in my past experience in this situation it seems like the adviser over complicates the situation to confuse you and maybe get more out of you for less. I would be an idiot to not return to Mini of Knoxville and have any issues with my vehicle overseen by Scott. I also plan on telling all of my friends when considering purchasing a new vehicle not only consider Mini for the dependability, functionality, and great gas mileage but the customer service is outstanding!!" If the wait in the showroom is too long, then that is not 'Truly Exceptional' even though the service representative did a fine job otherwise. 4.5"When I purchased my 2010 Mini in June of 2010, I was told it needed no service for 15,000 miles. when I rolled over 15,000 miles in April, I called for service and was told I should have been in at 11 months! 4.0"My only complaint was I had scheduled the appoint the week before for 7:30 A.M., and a loaner car would be made available. I arrived at 7:20 to get checked in. There was no loaner car, so Enterprise had to be called. They did not arrive until 8:05, and by the time I went there, filled out the paperwork an dgot the car I didn't get to work until 8:45. The purpose of setting up the appointment a week in advance was to insure I had a car to ge tto work so I wouldn't be late. A few minutes late is one thing, but it took me 1 hour & 25 minutes to get to work from the time I arrived. If you are told a loaner car will be there it needs to be. I don't blame the people at this dealership, but am not pleased that MINI couldn't find this problem when brought in while under warranty, so we paid for service on a manufacturing flaw."
